It was a good 12 years while it lasted.....

Laying just outside the key on the floor of the Westbury Baptist Church gym brought back memories of the spring of 1994; Hardy Strain leaning over me asking if I was alright, someone saying they heard something pop, and in such severe pain that all I could do was yell.

I tore my ACL again. Playing basketball. At my church.

The first thing through my mind was that I don’t want to have the surgery again. But after 6 weeks of limping around and having my knee hurt after just walking on the grass, I think I’ll have it done again. Also, my orthopod made it sound like the recovery is much better than it was 12 years ago when I had it done the first time (I will be checking references, though). I’ll have to wait for several months, since we’ll be getting baby #2 in just a couple of days. Me on crutches with two little ones would be a bit much for Amanda. I'll wait a bit.

Our First Blog Entry

I'll have to admit, I was a bit jealous when stumbling across some college friend's blogs lately. We have a web page, (it's just my last name .com) but I have been just too lazy to update it. It think that was about a year or so ago. Hopefully this easy to post, WYSIWYG interface will allow both Amanda and me to post more regularly for our friends and relatives.

Here's a recent pic of us. Coleman is 21 months and Amanda is a bit more than 8 months.
