Good News!

Good News of Great Joy That Will Be For All the People

"And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:8-11

I went to biblegateway.com and this is the verse of the day. I've never thought of "good news of great joy that will be for all the people" as Jesus' name, but that is what He is. He is THE Good News. He brings us great joy. He is for all people. I pray you are finding joy in Him at this moment.

Here are some pictures of the boys from the last few weeks.

Coleman playing at the mall after we visited Santa.

Coleman and Nana making a gingerbread house. That night he thanked God for Nana coming to his house and making a gingerbread house.

It turned cold for a few days, so he was able to wear his Christmas hat and sweater. You'll also notice the sock on his hand. I recently bought some mittens for the poor child.

We got this workbench from an online classified site for free! The first night we had it, Coleman walked into the kitchen and said, "I've been working hard all day Daddy!"

Today we visited family and had a mug swap and chili dinner. It was so much fun! Here are Coleman and Spence with their cousin Sheldon.

Cousin Shelby is holding Spence.
